Interior Design for Herăstrău Attic, 2004

The arrangement of the mansard emphasizes a stylistic concept freed of any rustic-traditional influences. We are dealing with a purified and very fluid space, undivided and with high-tech details. The spiral stair with its upwards illuminated glass stairs and elegant holding details connects the two levels of the mansard by a tubular glass parapet: the lounge and the study area.
The decorative assembly is almost minimalist: the study room contains, besides the desk, a discussion corner consisting of a sofa and white leather armchairs gathered around a simple table, and, in the vast lounge, a generous rectangular bed, an un-conventional red carpet and the avant-garde chaise-longue constitute an eccentric composition, to say the least. Special attention was paid to the illuminating system that varies from poles whose matte glass covers hide high-power lamps to light-diffusing ceiling lights.
